House in Spain

Interior designer Libia Barcenas was in charge of decorating this house in Spain. Both modern and elegant, with bold colours in some of the rooms and a soft palette in others. Come and see if you like it.


The contrasting colours on the walls separate the sitting area from the dining room. Voile curtains let the sunshine in. The sitting room opens onto the porch and garden.


White slipcovered chairs in the dining room.


Parquet flooring and modern lines for the furniture.




Stripes and stars in the master bedroom.




Glad they chose a soft palette for the nursery. The lampshade was covered with the same fabric used for the changing table below.
